South East Area Academy - Stars of the future

Date posted: 26 Sep 2008

South East Area Squash Academy

The England Squash Area Academies give talented young players the chance to receive some expert coaching and gain a real insight into what it takes to become a professional squash player. With selection based on National Rankings, County Closed and Area Closed results, players' form is monitored constantly over the season, ensuring that the best young talent gets a chance to train at the Academies. One of the goals is a chance to represent the South East in the Inter Area Academy Tournament at the National Squash Centre on April 8/9th, where the six Areas will battle it out and the youngsters will have the chance to impress the coaches and potentially progress to the National Academy set-up and ultimately to represent their country. Area Coach: Ian Robinson.
