Club Charter - Developing Clubs for the Future

Two recent additions to the England Squash Chartered Club Network in the South East are reaping the rewards that the Club Charter can bring. Club Kingswood in Essex was recently awarded the Silver Club Charter in recognition of their effective club management and the wide range of National Coaching Scheme Programmes available at the Club. As a result Club Kingswood will be hosting the Under 17's and Under 13's Inter Counties Finals on 6t/7th May, giving all Club members the opportunity to witness top class action at their club. In Surrey, Ashtead Squash Club were recently presented with their Bronze Club Charter Award by England's young star James Willstrop, following an exhibition match between James and Anthony Ricketts. Ashtead have commenced with a range of taster sessions and Mini Squash programmes at local schools encouraging all youngsters to try out the game and allowing those with a taste for it to progress into the club's junior section.
